January 2020

Legendary investor, prognosticator, and Blackstone Vice Chairman Byron Wien released his “Ten Surprises for 2020” on January 6th. Comprising events that Wien sees as having a greater than 50% chance of occurring, this year’s list includes his views on the recession, China, the election, and oil prices, among other notable topics. As we embark upon a new decade, many financial experts are speculating on what’s to come. We asked Encore’s own resident economist to share his prognosis for the year ahead in a live webinar by invitation only to Ignite’s investors.
