Erickson will succeed Nili Jaisinghani, who now serves in an advisory role as Managing Principal for Ignite, shifting her focus to Encore Enterprises, Inc., Ignite’s parent company, and continuing her work as a member of Encore’s Board of Directors.
Since joining the firm in 2019, Erickson has been instrumental in institutionalizing investor communications and enhancing operating efficiencies for the firm; Erickson will shift her focus to positioning the firm as a premier capital raising platform, leading Ignite’s team in its ongoing pursuit to provide its investors with access to a diversified set of exclusive, best in class investment opportunities.
“Our success at Ignite begins and ends with the incredible people that comprise our small but driven team,” said Jaisinghani. “It makes me incredibly fulfilled to be a part of encouraging and promoting strong female leadership in a male-dominated industry. I look forward to supporting all the new areas of growth Ignite will undergo under Ms. Erickson’s leadership.”
Erickson has more than 12 years of experience in the asset management industry and previously served as Director of Investor Relations for a Kansas City-based quantitative asset management firm, where she was responsible for all marketing, communications, and client service for the firm and its investment products, and served on both the product development and compliance committees. Previously, she worked for a single-family office in a similar role.
“With nearly $350 million in equity under management across more than 700 investors, Ignite has achieved record raises throughout the pandemic,” said Jaisinghani. “Erickson’s professional and even-keeled approach, tenacity, and innate understanding of the equity raise process gives us every confidence she will take Ignite to the next level.”
